Karis Group
Founded in 2000 by the owners to develop a whole person Christian approach to health and social care. The people implied had previously been involved in developing a chain of nursing homes with care, based on Christian Whole Person principles. Despite a lot of work and effort they were still institutions with one size fits all approach. A new model was looked at by Karis Group.
Through an integrated approach Karis Group seeks to provide healthcare, social care and support based on a persons own home.
This is achieved by providing appropriate supported housing within a whole person Christian Caring context and with the use of developing technology (telemedicine) to enable people to stay safely in their own home.
Karis Group is committed to developing and supporting business which promoted health, wholeness and well being.
Karis Group is also working in one of the poorest countries of the world Sierra Leone, with extremely poor healthcare outcomes, to develop a sustainable model of whole person healthcare using business and technology.
